You'll find a lot of guys here (myself included) use ThumbsPlus as well. Someone wrote some code for me a while ago that will tear through a set of subdirectories in a directory and create thumbnails and thumbnail pages (HTML), which is the quick and easy way to do it, if you can afford someone's programming time.

Which reminds me, I'd trade some content for some programming time because that software I just referred to is hard-coded and out of date a bit (I'd like things done a bit differently now).

Any programmers out there who want to trade?

I use thumbnail refinery for large batches, and ACDSee for smaller quantities, renaming, resizing, and setting up porn slideshows!

I used to use Thumbsplus, but the latest one craps out after you get a LOT of images, like 20k+.. The db just can't handle it, so it stops displaying thumbs..

I use Smaller Animals Thumbnailer now.. Works great, it does resizing, text/border adding, cropping, pretty much whatever basic image processing you need.
