anyone in austin, tx?
 

my gfs parents got divorced(after 30 years...pretty freaky) anyways...shes going to be in austin(round rock) for a while. id feel kinda weird staying at her moms house working on porn, etc...when im down there. sorry, no mature content for me :D

anyways...can someone recommend a few good places to live downtown. id like a loft downtown in a high rise. something i can lease for 6 months and something secure. my budget is around 1500 a month for about 1100-1500 square feet. something like the brown building, but not so fucking expensive :)

Good luck finding a place, most asshole landlords wont let you get a 6 month lease.

I'm not sure how far Austin is from Conroe or The Woodlands, but theres some places for that price in "Research Forest" which I believe lets you lease for six months. Contact the board member BiggleJones, he lives there and can let you know the deal.

good luck gettin somethin that big in downtown for that price, go to round rock or further north, and you'll get a nice new place, for less than that

thats not really that big. ive found bigger...around 2500 sq for 2k a month on east 5th, i dont want something that big though. why the hell are people on here always so negative?

there's a place called the RailYard. not really lofts, but downtown. i haven't seen any lofts worth renting for that price. however, i'm in austin. if you get a loft downtown let me know.
