Part two of our cross county drive in progress
 

Heading out of IN in a few minutes. First stop, Hannibal, MO. Going to take a little more northern route this time. Hopefully we will run across some tornadoes on the way. That would make this journey perfect.

So much for good intentions. Got distracted and only made it as far as Springfield, IL. Glad we took the time to check things out here as IL has more to offer than just Chicago.

:1orglaugh Damned dog seems to be drawn to water. This wasn't bad. The first time we went along the Mississippi River he decided to walk down to the water's edge and discovered why it was called Ole Muddy.

Yesterday was pretty cool. We headed for Hannibal, MO and actually made it. If you are a Mark Twain fan, you should visit there some time.
