Fuck Apple, I'm feeling discriminated
Really fuck them, imagine if we can deploy apps with our content, we would make some extra $$$ now because they don't want to have x-rated content running on their "I" devices PLUS don't accept Flash technology they are starting to get attitude.
I really hope soon there are some "I" devices offering Flash technology because this is purely discrimination. Now having said this I can finally get some good sleep xoxoxo |
"I" devices can play flash. :)
|
I read the excuse for no flash is "battery life" take it for what you will.
|
They (Apple) doesn't want Adobe dictating their future. Perfectly understandable & legal, but I don't agree with it. Their grip is a little too tight.

maybe someday apple allowed flash technology.... btw what is the reason why apple didn't allowed flash technology , even in mac can ?
|
There are a few reasons why Flash is not included into their mobile devices.
1. High CPU usage. 2. Usability issues. Certain Flash elements contain hover states which are impossible to mimic on touch screen devices. This was pointed out by someone WHO WORKS FOR ADOBE. It's not just Apple making the decisions here. 3. Fear of unapproved developers taking away apps into their own portals. For instance. Any flash developer can develop a game specific to the iphone and release it on their own website or whatever, rather than a native app for the app store. Please spend more time doing some research, instead of purchasing the email addresses of adult webmasters without their solicitation and spamming my inbox with your shitty cam program. http://www.roughlydrafted.com/2010/0...e-flash-myths/ Flash is overrated. HTML 5 is the future. We are only stuck behind because Microsoft are so shit at keeping up with their technology. FACT |
cant stand flash on the web would hate it even more on my phone.

If you don't like apple devices, feel free not to buy them and not to develop for them.

That's complete bullshit! Lack of Flash support for the iPhone has absolutely nothing to do with technological contraints. Apple simply does not want to pay Adobe's ransome (errr, I mean licensing fees). Which is pretty ironic considering the licensing fees charged by Apple to other companies for use of their own technology. BTW, I say this as an avid iPhone user. :2 cents: |

Apple made this same mistake in the past and didn't learn from it. They tried to keep the Mac platform closed and the PC took over. Android is already on the rise. They don't learn. I personally have a love hate relationship with Apple. They make the best products out there from a consumer perspective but as a software developer I would have to say they are one of the most evil companies in technology. Saying fuck you to your developers is a mistake and will be their downfall. |
everyone who believes that this is a technical issue is completely misguided by Apple propaganda :2 cents:

I totally agree with you. From a consumer perspective they make good things but they skip the developers to protect their Istore business model and come up with this anti Flash policy. We will see how this all will end up and how the competitors will respond to this. Now Adobe will join forces with Google and that can be a good thing. It would be nice to do some Flash mobile App development and deployment because I think we all could make some extra bucks with it. |
