CAD $ and looming interest rate increase.
 

So us canadians are getting fucked lately. 1 USD is now worth less than 1 CAD. :321GFY
Canadian Goverment is warning of increased interest rates in June, which last week just the warning caused a 1.5 cent spike to the CAD vs US. I'm sitting on a bit of US money, and I don't want to ride this out for a few years. Whats the take on this, will it go to .90-.95 cents US soon on interest rate spike?

Remember 2 years ago? Petrol prices were at $1.30 per litre, and the USD was worth less than the CAD.

Then the following 18 months it went back down to around $1usd = $0.89 - $0.93cad

I reckon it will happen again.

Nothing you can do but charge more.

This strong CDN is hurting. Definitely been cutting in as I was used to taking extra cash off my USD checks. Now I'm losing. :(
