Look at www.CountDuhMoney.com - sites.

We have effectively done hosted galleries and much more with twitter without losing affiliate links. : )

Poke around, you'll see what i mean.

There isn't much chance of Google reducing your rankings because of inbound links.

Are not all member imputed links, rel="nofollow"?

thanks for feedback guys ,

what I have done was following around new 1000 related sites, persons and some of them have at the same time followed back our twitter account too.

I have used some shortening service for the links too ,so even the name of the domain name was not exposed to the bots. But I cant believe it was just coincidence , that the organic traffic falled by 80 percent down suddenly as I have used this service.

No follow links don't *hurt* your SEO, but they're not as beneficial as do-follow. Moreover, a lot of search engines don't adhere to "no-follow". No-follow links are beneficial, but mostly just as a mention.. to put it simply, it's like 1/10th of what a do-follow link would be. Beneficial still, but not nearly as much.

In short, Twitter alone didn't hurt your SERPs. It should help it. I don't think most webmasters would have twitters for their sites if it didn't help.

thanks travesty ,

well, partially the loss was balanced by the clicks from the new twitter posts links to my site too, so the links are follow .

on different site it havent hurt it at all - the profile of PornHD.TV

and I see the difference now on that site I dont use the shortennig service of my link and th affected site I do ! May be it is this ?

And now I have 500 followers.
