Google blocked in 25% of countries

Wow, Im very amazed that videos are uploaded to youtube at a rate of 24hours of film in every minute!

http://www.xbiz.com/news/119762

In Germany there are lots of links removed from google & Rachel Whetstone concludes that "more information gives more choice, more freedom which in turn gives more power for the individual".

Shit, porn or freedom never did myself or many of us any extra power?? WTF. Are they saying that different people should be treated differently?

Im going to use yahoo again :winkwink:

There are 195 countries in the world which would make 48 or 49 countries blocked from google.

That does seem an awful huge amount of the world blocked from choice :(

So what is the percentage of INTERNET USERS blocked? Since that is all that really matters.

That is one thing I cannot answer. A true thought though... :2 cents:

I can see that 25% of the countries in the world hae some rules or regulation which might limit Google, but that they would be totally blocked in almost 50 countris out of the Worlds ~195 nations don't seem right. Limitations, yes, possibly, totally blocked - hardly.

I've travelled the world many times, the first time before I turned 20 and has continued from there. Been to more than 100 countries and it is my feeling that 25% would be a little high. But depending on how you count, if you consider "partly blocked or limited" as one strike, then, again, possibly. But that 25% would totally block, no that seems too high.

I think they mean restricted, which would mean control over the nations.... Still very bad! :thumbsup
