Firefox Question- Same wesbite, different u/p/ different tab overide problem

Hey Guys,

I have two facebook accounts and often I like to open each one in a separate tab. But what happens is one often overrides the other one.

How can I view the same website in a different tabs using different passwords without it overridding it and using the same user/pass on the original tab/site.

Sometimes in logged into a membership site with two account testing things and this happens all the time.

Any suggestions would be great.

Wouldn't the problem be that when you login FB sets a cookie or creates a session so in a separate tab it will just read the latest cookie/session info? You could use two different browsers to get around this issue.

The solution is ... I dont think there is one... however there is a work around...

Since not all websites work in IE or Firefox or Chrome... I have all three downloaded which each have their separate files... so I open up a facebook/myspace/gmail in each browser and have them all open... Firefox right now is what I currently use for adult work, IE for personal, chrome for other stuff but ill be switching them around soon since Firefox keeps fucking up....

Hope that helps.

Exactly this. Its the cookies.

I have had luck with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3255 cookie swap, altho u cant tab them it does let you log into multiple accounts under firefox and just one click to move inbetween them

If you want to do that, you've no choice but to use two different browsers. I used to use an add-on for Firefox called IETab but the latest version of Firefox is not compatible with it. :(
