You think Yahoo is a mighty corporation serving its customers but the reality is that they'll usually cooperate with law enforcement. There's even a leaked pdf that outlines their pricing for such services.

Now they need to go after the 180 day rule. There's no reason why my email suddenly becomes free to read after 180 days , it's mine. The arguments for warrantlesss seizures are ridiculous to begin with. There is no legitimate reason to not get a warrant first ever. The only argument you ever hear is "it takes to long to get a warrant", and that's just an excuse not to fix the original problem. Why not make it simpler to get warrants.
