tfone, like the new teaser page, but honestly, i liked the original alot more than i like the new one. before it was cleancut and didnt look so much like a porn site. before it was white, clean and simple, and peronally i would be a lot less likely to download from the new page than i would the original. now it looks like a lot of the other sites out there that i'd associate it with a dialer type program and be hesitant to download, whereas before i think it was nice, simple, clean and i would've definetely felt comfortable downloading.

thats my thoughts of what a visitor's perspective would be. if this is the one you're keeping, will you have the old one somewhere as i'm about to start promoting your program and i'd rather send to the old page...

I thought that as well, but since we changed the download page our downloads jumped 23% we are converting about 1:100 pretty good for porn nowadays, I hope you'll still feel that you can do well with this design... the rest of the site will still be cleaner..

the tour design is not as important
as direct download

let the surfer download and run it and if they like it then they'll pay for it, then pay the webmaster $1 per download

This is not a new idea, its been done before

I agree we are paying webmasters $30 up to $50, per subscriber, the next thing is the $1.00 download..just for downloading it, and using it remember it is a free product for all to use, the tease occurs inside the browser to activate the members version..Thanks for your feedback, another 10K in your paypal box..

tfone, no that sounds great, if the new page is converting that much better that's excellent. also, do you have any idea of what the conversion rate of download to signup is, i'd be interested.
