a tgp newbie's question!
 

i'm a TGP newbie and i use to write some scripts before for webmasters,but i actually never involved in this biz,now i finished my first TGP site design,i want to start it,but i don't know how to make the traffic grow.... :( ,shall i buy some traffic?,or just try to add my site into the Toplists,SEs,and place some banners on other sites?

please help!!!!!! :?:

Keep dreaming little one. There will never be a newbie that starts another fucking tpp today, with no traffic and no idea how to get traffic... that will ever... become my competition. Believe it or not newbie, there are other ways to make money without making galleries and without running a tgp. Its true, its true.

some of us actually do other thing than submit gallerys, but whats wrong with submitting gallerys? even Shemp do it?

hehe,maybe you're right....but i still want a try on that----i never lose anything (maybe some payment on host or some time,even some other extra payment...but that's not a pain):winkwink: )

I guess the point is that relying only on tgp when you are a newbie it a dangerous game. I would suggest reading up on things like AVS and free sites. They are less of a bandwith hog and a good way to learn the workings of site building and search engine traffic.

Webmasters are attracted to tgps like racoons to shiny things. They aren't all bad - lord knows I have been involved with them long enough - but they aren't the 'x' on the treasure map either.

newbies should NEVER start with AVS and free sites. they won't have the patience for it. TGP is instant gratification. i remember i was excited when i first started and got 1000 hits to my gallery.. lol :1orglaugh get a free host and a domain.. submit some galleries and prepare to learn and work hard.. don't expect to make anything for months..
