matrixfred 04-13-2010 02:06 PM

Yup! Heard about it this past weekend! Roger is gonna perform it here in L.A. on September 15th at the Los Angeles Forum. I was too young to see the original Floyd shows in the 80's but looking forward to scoring some tix for this one coming up! If anyone knows of a TIX hook up for a true Roger Waters/Floyd fan please feel free to hit me up!

Saw Division Bell Tour in Minneapolis. Hands down the best concert I have ever been to. Would love to see Roger do the wall. Guess I know what I'm going to be doing in November.

All in the US so I will have to miss the concert. Saw The Wall Live many years ago, it's an awesome show.

kane 04-13-2010 11:42 PM

I saw him about 10 years ago. He didn't do the full Wall album, but did a lot of different songs from it. He was amazing live. I would love to see this show.

Plutonium Richard 04-13-2010 11:57 PM

Yes! Phoenix in November! I saw Roger Waters about 10 years ago, and Australian Pink Floyd perform the Wall about 2 years ago. Both were amazing!

snowywhite 04-14-2010 12:52 AM

Saw it Live in Berlin in 1990 when the Berlin wall fell.
AMAZING!

LoveSandra 04-14-2010 04:08 AM

awesome..

BlackCrayon 04-14-2010 04:22 AM

geez, i hope i can score some tickets. it won't be quite the same without the other member of pink floyd but the next best thing i guess.

Dead 04-14-2010 04:34 AM

Do a search for "Which one's pink" they are a unreal cover band that played a show covering the Wall album in its entirety, they freakin nailed it!!!

CaptainHowdy 04-14-2010 05:55 AM

Greedy artists...

BlackCrayon 05-10-2010 11:52 AM

i got my floor tickets :)

Adam X 05-10-2010 01:29 PM

yeah its a bunch of Waters' musicians... they're good tho..
its a shame that Richard Wright passed away a couple years ago.. he was amazing

David still lives on and charges a fortune for shows..

this one is a mininum $150 or so.. for tix in the back.. the main section starts at $250 and you must buy two during presale.. its almost $600 for the pair.

YOU MUST PICK TIX UP AT THE SHOW. Thats how they get around buying and reselling (scalping) to profit... which is bullshit, imagine the line at the show to get your tix.. this really made me think twice about going.. not gonna go now, wanted the option to resell the tix just in case.

I saw Pink Floyd preform The Wall back in the 80s at the Forum in LA. GREAT concert. This wont be the same though.

I'm not sure about all the venues but the only tickets that were 'will call' were the ones on rogerwaters.com. I bought mine through the local radio presale and got row 29 on the floor and didn't have to pick them up at the venue.

Yeah it won't be but for people like myself (who were only 2 at the time), this is as close as we can get to the real thing.

Spunky 05-10-2010 04:02 PM

He's coming here,should be a great show

Forest 05-10-2010 04:06 PM

got my tickets on pre sale. 225 each

cant wait for this show. the stage show will be amazing

NETbilling 05-10-2010 04:13 PM

Always a great show. I love PF but how can it be the same without David Gilmore?

smutnut 05-10-2010 04:24 PM

Yeah, I love PINK FLOYD too but I personally think the Alan Parker film was the greatest peak of their career and it was all downhill from there. And a big drop, because they were WAY WAY WAY up there. I actually like Animals as much as the wall, but I was a George Orwell fan too.

Wizzo 05-10-2010 04:26 PM

I bought mine pre-sale last Friday for the Nov20th show... :pimp

LeRoy 05-10-2010 04:26 PM

Saw Pink Floyd in 87' here in LA.

I would love to see this one for sure.

onwebcam 05-10-2010 05:22 PM

Was just talking about seeing them in '94 last night. Hope I can make it to one of these but looks like I'll have to take a road trip.. Maybe this time I'll remember more of it.. lol

M0nk 05-10-2010 09:26 PM

fuck! if they go to argentina IŽll have to go again!
Amazing show the last time...

J. Falcon 05-10-2010 09:36 PM

Sadly, Rogers Waters alone is not Pink Floyd.
Still should be a great show.
