I don't like it either. It showed up on April Fools day and I was hoping it was a joke. You can't even rate videos with stars anymore, just thumbs up or thumbs down.

It's been getting little live runs since before that. youtube has been reworking and testing new things for a little while now.

Well, I meant it showed up for me on April Fools day. I have trouble believing anyone even looked at it before making it live, much less tested it or re-worked it. :1orglaugh

Is it just my browser or have they removed the description? I can't see it on any videos now. I would have thought that's a pretty important field.

I'm also trying to figure out why they've removed date info from comments.

It really is horrific and gets worse and worse every time they change things. But not all videos are like this yet. But it's getting there. Find the forum to complain on. Last time they changed the entire format, I lost my featured video section and couldn't find a way to enable a featured video. I told the forum what happened and got mine fixed in minutes. They probably need input to what's wrong. They even got rid of related videos?!?!

Oddly enough I bitched here a few days ago about losing almost all Youtube playlist functionality, then I went and bitched to Youtube.

Now I can create and view my playlists again, but I still hate the new layout.

I was like WTF then said, Agaiiin Shit.

I think the displayed metrics are cool...

The changes are fine, I think they're moving towards improvement, though they need to work out some bugs I like what they're going for. People just like to nag and bitch abotu change. This reminds me of the massive outbursts of rage that flood my wall every time FB changes their layout. Then a week later everybody has figured things out and completely fucking forget it was any different in the first place...

I didn't really even notice until it was mentioned.

No related videos, the comments seem to mesh together and not being separtaed, the bio of the video which was at the top right is now under the video and looks like a giant comments. That's the problems for now that I can tell. :321GFY:mad::disgust:Oh crap:helpme

Must be my browser then, I can see a few vertical lines worth of pixels but the rest is truncated. When I click it expands vertically but is still truncated horizontally.

Proffesional flaggers (read: assbags) have been flagging all my "hardcore filth" videos. One of them got flagged because upon super zooming one of the pics in the video, you can BARELY see the top of a titty. And I mean it, you actually had to zoom in like 200% to see it. So now my "filthy porn videos" account is in bad standing.

Pro flaggers should all get hit by a bus, the dirty goddam assholes.

on a 16:9 monitor the video info is out of the screen. rating system is for idiots how can only count till 2.
Even the comment function looks like shit,... no publishing date, no info, poor youtubers.

I prefer the old layout. It's too bad they don't give users a way to opt for one or the other.

The old layout offered too many options. They're redesigning it to funnel you down to their advertisers.

I was quite happy with the way my accounts were set up before. I'm not going to waste my time re-configuring everything. No big loss.

Old layout or new layout youtube is in the third place when it comes to traffic you definitely need to focus on how to grab youtube traffic and convert it, that's all.

Has threading been removed from the comments? You used to be able to see (clearly) when a comment was a reply, since it was indented. That seems to have disappeared too.

Huh????? It hasn't changed at all for me in FF, however in IE I see it has, and upon loading a video IE got an error and crashed... I lul'd.

Maybe this is Google's way of killing IE's users? Haha checkmate!
