What Would GFY Do?: I had a sponsor remove my entire downline...
 

So a while ago this one sponsor I promoted pretty heavily was bought up. Old system was switched to NATS (which I was never notified of) and during this switch all my 50+ sub affiliates were lost/removed, whatever you wanna call it.

This was all without notice and without intention of them to ever set it right. Now, I've only noticed this a few weeks ago but when I contacted the sponsor they pretty much said "tough luck" and told me "hey your affiliates don't send any sales anymore anyway so no big deal". I'm not sure what to believe.

Considering the amount of "SponsorXXX stole from me" threads, what would GFY do?

Your referrals should have been kept. If they are making nothing, it shouldn't be a problem for them to edit them and get them back under you. Sounds like they are making something and just don't want to pay you out on it. :2 cents:

I can't imagine a situation where they wouldn't have legacy data avail to them to manually correct that.

Well, I guess I *can* imagine it, but I would like to assume most sponsors wouldn't be as stupid as to flush that.

I've never worked with any company who has converted to NATS who has not kept the CCBill/other links active for at least several months after migration and notification. Never.

William Hill pulled a similar cunning stunt to this to me 6 years ago.

Except substitute active gamblers instead of downline when they changed their affiliate system, and none of the players got transferred. One was a whale who had a gambling problem. I dropped them like a stone after that.
