Recipe calls for 5 grams strained after heating in oil. Being Mr. conservative I put in 9 and leave the shake in. :1orglaugh

5 - 9 grams is a lot of weed for us NY-ers, tho, since we (generally) can't grow it ourselves and must pay INSANE retail prices (like $600+ an ounce).

I also use a vaporizer and have heard that if you save THAT weed, after you've Vaped it to death, that that shit KILLS. Haven't tried it yet but that would be easy to collect 5-9 grams. :D

better to keep the heat up to a warm level, it absorbs the THC better. Strain it really good, cheese cloth is the best, it takes most of the nasty taste out

Correct, there's a fine line between not hot enough and burning the oil. Not hot enough and the finished product is weak, to hot and the oil burns tasting bad. I like to error on the weak side but don't strain the shake ... just dump it all in so it's much stronger.

Adding ground Macadamia nuts gives it texture so you don't notice the shake as much.

Few times we made too powerful ones, and I don't like injestin it anymore. lol Weird high, more sick than high. Got some kush goin atm mmm.

Trick my late little hippie sister taught me ... If you/guests haven't had brownies in a while make 2 batches. One plain one weed. That way your taste buds can pig out without eating to much weed. (Also if there are kids around)

WOWZA! $300 for an ounce means you are HOOKED UP, my friend (or live in a 'hood where that's feasible). I use a delivery service and it's $150 a 1/4, and the guy I know for quantity is $170 a 1/4. Again, high end stuff, mostly Deisel, etc but I'm not seeing those prices you quote. ICQ me and I'd fucking buy you an ounce for the hookup. LOL Shit, it would cut my bill in half. LOL

Depending on the bud, i like the flavor of leaving it in as long as its ground up fine enough. When its cooked it adds a nutty flavor that tastes pretty good imo.

I grew this year and tossed an ounce of "green crank", buds and all, and made some brownies and rice crispie treats. I add extra chocolate and macadamia nuts, they do work well. I grind it up very fine, then after about 4 hours on a low heat, I put it thru a cheese cloth, eat one, wait 2 hours and SMILE!

FAK!!!!!!! nice. i get a brownie or 2 every time my card gets stamped full at the dispensary, love em!
