Anyone Get An Ipad Yesterday?

We unfortunately can't get them up here in Canada for a little while. :disgust

here is what I posted in juicy's thread. I got the 16gig and I might sell it in a month or so to my sister and get the 64gig but i wanna decide if i want the 3g or if i like it that much. $500 was no big deal to throw away even if I didn't like it today but the 64gig with 3g I'd like to know I will use it.



I'm still learning about things but I will say this. The thing is A LOT faster than I thought it would be. 100 times faster than a netbook but it's not going to be used as much as you could a netbook for our type of work since it doesn't have a real osx. It feels heavier than I thought so I doubt I would wanna hold it for all day. This thing will change how the casual surfer gets online in the future no doubt.

And for the record I AM NOT a fanboy! I've never owned a iphone (I own Android) and bought my daughter a Mac book pro cause she wanted it but i don't care for macs.. Apple does know how to make killer ipods and to me this is just a ipod that does so much more.

also about battery life.. It is all of the 10 hours that it says it does because I've used mine a lot today and I'm at 45% still. One thing to read about charging is this article though

It seems that your average usb port is going to take a lot longer to charge the battery so you might want to just plug it into the wall if you are in a hurry

Nope we cant......I think its because they are making a igloo/works in extreme low temperature model.....well thats what i heard ......:) and word is its called the icepad.......but hey you know how rumours go !

I thought about it. the apple store has a ton of them out to playwith which was cool. But really 16GB thats pretty lame.

A buddy of mine got one. Didn't seem to me to be worth the $700 he paid for it.

Android tablets will be available shortly (a few already are), with more power, less price and the ability to play Flash.

I went in, checked it out and just decided to wait till the end of April to get the 3g model.

I'm waiting on the 3G. Psyched!

hope canada has them soon, or ill just go over the border and pick a couple up

So they are not in Canada, yet? Okay. When they are in Canada, I will take a look.

I think i am going to pick one up... Anyone have any suggestions on which model i should get?
