Last year we took a side trip to see the grand canyon and do a helicopter tour (totally worth it). Also stopped thru Sedonna on the way back which was incredible!

Camelback is one of my favorite things in phoenix. echo canyon head north on rural turns into scottsdale road go west on mcdonald about 15 minutes from the forum.
