'Must Have' Plugins for Joomla?

What are your must have plugins for Joomla?

I would post some, but I've just started tinkering around with Joomla this past week, so I have no clue what's hot or not.

It works like a charm too. I used it for a client site recently and was very impressed by this bit of code.

Is there an 'all-in-one' seo plugin that anyone could recommend?

I came across this Sobi2 link directory plugin that seems pretty good so far, going to try and use it for a local biz directory.

Would be awesome if there was a plugin, or even a standalone directory script that scrapes the google local business center info though!

My girlfriend works for Cornell University and her department was just paid to test security on Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal in comparison the the solution they use now.

All were more secure, with Drupal being the most followed by Joomla and then Wordpress.

Refreshing to hear. Thankfully I haven't had any problems with WP so far, sounds like my Joomla run should go just as well.

I use Joomla for a mainstream community website of mine. The only problems I have with it are speed. Joomla uses so much resources to run. I have tired a few different things to try and speed it up, but no luck.

On another note if your making a community website then these two are great to have:

Someone actually spent $30k to have them test the lot and compare over the course of 3 weeks.

There are extra steps to take to secure all of them and the conclusion was that if done properly, they were all more secure than their current, closed source cold fusion based solution.

To secure the login to the admin page ( normally mysite.com/administrator/ ), you can add this plugin : jSecure Authentication
