If you're redirecting your mobile traffic directly to a sponsor site, you'd probably be better off setting up your own site/page and then redirect your mobile traffic all there.

This is why the Ipad was invented. Bigger screen, same portablility and you can surf every site on the net! No need for mobile mini sites. We almost converted, but when we found out that the Ipads are the hottest selling ticket and are back ordered for months, we figured there was no need for mobile.

You speak the truth, I find most don't have fully compatible site templates and have lots of problems with the video encoding.

The more some follow and rip off the next guy they are still doing it all wrong.

Its hard to get the encoding done for every phone/mobile device out there though.
But we are doing pretty good i must say, even better then expected :)
