Serious question. I'm working on a list of my favorite movies and wondering if I should add BARTON FINK. Here is my list, not in order and missing a lot, so far:

No... the Coen brothers have done better movies than Barton Fink.

They are playing the shit out of them this week on cable, RAISING ARIZONA, FARGO etc. Both those are better I agree. Not sure how I feel about NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, but they stuck to the novel. Loved BLOOD SIMPLE, one of their first.

I like it but not sure if I would put it on my best ever list.

I liked it when i saw it but when i tried to watch it again a few years latter I thought it wasn't that good. Than again most movies are like that

I loved Barton Fink, but I think there's other movies in their canon that deserve more attention -- namely Oh, Brother!

I certainly love the SOGGY BOTTOM BOYS!
