What Do You Think Would Happen If The US Attacks Iran?
 

Would oil and gas prices skyrocket?

Would other countries team up with us (other than Israel of course)?

Would the war finally bankrupt the US?

Would the "war" last longer than a year?

How would China react?

How would Russia react?

How would the Saudis react?

Would terrorism skyrocket worldwide?

Would there be direct attacks on US soil?

Would WMD be used, by someone, within 2 years of the attack?

The reason I ask, is that it is becoming very clear that Iran is providing weapons to Afghanistan to kill our troops. LOTS of weapons, and very deadly ones.

I don't think Obama is going to allow this to continue. This, coupled with Israeli pressures, and it starts to look more and more like this WILL be coming to a head soon..

There is no way we can afford to be fighting on three fronts. This country seriously needs to pass a war tax. If you are going to fight the world, and be so cavalier about it. Then people need to PAY for it.

There is a lot of stupidity in this thread....... but there is no way that the US would launch a ground assault on Iran. It is possible however to launch an air bombing campaign which would cripple the Iranians. The long term results of such a campaign are very hard to predict, which is why people are hesitant to proceed with the option.

The bombing campaign would last one week, would result in zero US causalities and would send Iran back to the stone age. Whether that is a desirable result is the real debate.

Military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan will go up in smoke within 2 hours. Its not like the Iranians dont know where ever major military base is and they do have the capillarity to hit them with missiles.
