I went to smoke a cig , and turned to my right and saw this fucker staring me down..

needless to say I ran for my life inside :helpme:helpme:helpme

They are scary mother fuckers! One time growing up I had to put the trash out before I went to school (it was still dark out). I put the trash out, went inside and started eating breakfast. I hear the dog bark I look out side and I see a set of eyes on the trash cans.

I go outside with a flood light and shine it on the cans. There were like 10 fucking raccoons looking back at me! Lucky for me they ran up the nearest tree.

2 years ago i opened the door at night as i heard a noise from outside.
Family of 4 raccoons dragging the trash away, i got so fucking pissed that i threw a flashlight after them (yeah i know i shouldent have)

Anyways, 3 of them dident move, just looked at me like WTF are you doing?
Fourth moved about 3 inches, just enough to not get hit....then gave me a pissed off stare!

Balsy fuckers !!!

I <3 Racoons. Mine visit daily, almost domesticated, would come inside if I let them, and will take food from my hand. They like Captain Crunch best.

Raccoons are actually pretty cool if they're use to being around humans. I know someone who has one as a pet.

tons of racoon pet vids on youtube, very smart animals and they have nice white ones too

they can be thou very dangerous and if they dont run from you there might be a chance they are sick

great pics boobzooka, i had a house in a similar area once and a family would come to my back porch all the time, i fed them cat food. very cool to watch and definitely intelligent little buggers.

I like spiders too. This one guarded against mosquitoes sneaking in. First pic is young, second pic is about a year later, after he became morbidly obese due to all the moths attracted to the porch light. For scale, his butt grew to about the size of a walnut.

I like racoons :) We used to have them vist when i was a kid we fed them a big momma one and a row of cubs, they were nice, but no rabies, thats what you have to watch out for.

Yep. One just pissed me off the other night running around on my roof at like 2am. When I went in the backyard, he was on the lawn like 20 yards away staring me down and hissed. I picked up a couple nice sized rocks and nailed that fucker good on the first shot. He kind of yelped and took off into the trees :1orglaugh

I was having a birthday party at my place and I went out onto the deck to bring in the snacks we had out on the table. There was a big fat raccoon sitting on one of my patio chairs like a person - with his little raccoony elbows on my table, shoveling crackers into his yap.

Would have been funny if one of them didn't eventually attack my neighbour's eight year old daughter because she wanted to eat her cookies outside.

This stupid lazy fucks that work for this pathetic city never did come to remove them - and we were told that we were not allowed to kill them ourselves.

They fucking died anyways. Dozens of them.

Don't think they aren't taking pics of us, for their message boards as well!

This looks so much like this one place I lived in Jersey as a kid, Ringwood. The racoons were so tame they were awesome. They would hang out on the dock with me & I would toss them snacks.

My racoons here in FL aren't that tame. They spend most of their time in my trees. I still love them, but they've been doing damage to my pad. I have a roof AC unit and they try to tear the flashing away and open a hole in the duct to get at the air inside. They do it at the peak of summer to try and stay cool and in the dead of winter to try and stay warm. I feel for them, but it's not cheap. Last time they fucked it up so bad I had to get almost 2 grand worth of work done but this time it's not a patch, all new duct work- serious metal so their little devil mits won't be able to pry it back.

I love raccoons. Anyone remember those ads in comic books when I was a kid where they'd send you a live raccoon baby from Florida through the mail? I pestered mny parents so much they agreed to buy me one for my birthday. Sucker actually showed up in a box with holes in it and the words "live animal" on the side. It was a baby raccoon but it wasn't very healthy. I tried to make a pet out of it - my dad built me a nice hutch in the backyard and everything - but it just got sick and died. I guess I'm lucky it never bit me. But I used to feed these raccoons in georgia back when I had a house there. I'd feed them up on my back deck and they had to climb a bunch of stairs to get up to the deck. One of the raccoons fell off apparently because one night, he showed up and was all messed up - could hardly walk and fell over all the time. Seemed like he had brain damage. The poor thing - I would have killed it if I could have caught it, just to put it out of its misery. Anyhow, that one dissapeared soon after - I just hope he died a quick and painless death. Maybe underneath a car.
