It's a period piece, from before breast implants were invented. The casting retsriction makes sense in this case.

I can understand part of it, perhaps they had problems with implants being squeezed to hard in the corsets. A rupture because of it, could lead to a potential law suit ?

It's not an effects heavy movie so that should be enough time. They'll be shooting this summer so that should give them enough time to shoot it and then do the post-production work. Steven Spielberg got Munich done in roughly six months so if they keep a tight schedule it shouldn't be too hard.

I dont blame them they are trying to create an illusion and the implants take away from it.
