Underground Shelters?
Ok I'm trying to figure out if this site is for real or just a spoof as a promo for a movie or a video game. Any thoughts?

My grandparents used to have a very nice fallout shelter in their basement. It was the sample house in a development that they built in the 50s. At the time, the houses were going for $20K and the fallout shelter was a $13K option. Needless to say, nobody ordered the option and only the sample had it. The builder ended up selling the sample to my grandparents without charging them for the shelter.
2 foot thick poured concrete walls and ceiling. Of course if something happened they didn't actually have any food or supplies down there. |
On the website they talk about sheltering 3600 people, on the youtube vid they state 200.. it doesn't look real to me
|
they want to build 20 shelters
3600 / 20 = 180 people per |
Same person behind it as http://www.fractionalvillas.com so it doesn't look to me like a promo for a movie or a video game.
The stuff about the Mayan Prophecy makes it sound like a bit of preying on the feeble-minded in the same way cults do. As for hiding in an underground shelter I'm not sure I'd want to survive a nuclear war and come out a year later to utter devastation anyway. |
Woot! Another calamity on the horizon. Time to buy stock in survival food and equipment companies!

There is nothing wrong with being prepared for the unknown.
Anything can happen. From massive solar flares to a massive terror attack on power grids and millions lose power for months on end. It won't take much to create total chaos. Should such an event happen, or something worse, those who are ridiculed and well prepared today, will rule tomorrow. |
