Adult blogging: How much personality do you put into your blogs?

Posting a few personality-driven "flavor nugget" posts in your blog might make a difference :) Couple that with a funny/quirky picture or cartoon logo and you've probably stood apart from the mass of fully/semi-automated morph feed-driven competition. Is it worth it the time to develop a personal PORN BLOG BRAND?

While the article below focuses on mainstream blogging, the principles apply to adult as well: the difference between linkbait, being a link magnet, and blogging with personality

How can you develop your personal brand so that you only have to publish that sticky idea and links occur as a byproduct?

Well a simple way to put it is you can either run blogs to make friends, or to make money.

You aren't friends with most salesmen you deal with, and you don't get sold stuff by your actual friends (generally anyways). It's similar comparison here, you can push sales hard, almost spammy, or you can build up a relationship with the traffic.

You can do both of course, and the successful bigger sites do this to a certain degree, but the average joe webmaster isn't the best at balancing both.

Spinning personality-driven posts might be a good midway point between volume and quality posting... specially if you have many sites.
