Real solution to health care? What do you think?
This solution to health care
just hit the net. what you guys think? It could save 400 billion in medicare alone! ***** New Views on Health Care ******* There are many models for the implementation of an efficient Health Care System that includes various pay systems. Let us take the idea of "an health care system" and break it down into the following categories: (a) Person in need of Health Care. and (b) Health Care Professionals, who provide Health Services. How does an Health Care System administer Health Care, pay for it, and keep both parties happy? Model 1 (i) Corporation "XYZ" (ii) Number of employees: 50 (iii) Health Care Professionals, divided into: (1) Doctors (2) Dentists (3) Pharmacists (iv) Dollar amount set for this system is 70 dollars per month. Corporation "XYZ" will match the dollar employee contribution at a 1:1 ratio. That is: This will cost Corporation "XYZ", $35 per month or $8.75 per week. And The employee of Corporation "XYZ" will pay $35 per month or $8.75 per week. (v) Every month, Corporation "XYZ" has $3,500.oo for health care of its employees or $42,000.oo per year. The Plan (1) Corporation "XYZ" seeks a cooperative, comprised of Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical Professionals; who are willing to get paid $3,500.oo UP FRONT, on a per month basis. That is, $42,000.oo per year on contract. (1-A) Corporation "XYZ" agrees to pay the Health Care Professionals $3,500.oo per month, UP FRONT ($42,000.oo per year) on contract. No matter if it's employees get sick or not. (2) The contract is for the following services: Medical (a) Standard medical care (b) Emergency care (c) Surgery up to $10,000.oo Dental (a) Standard Dental Work as needed. Pharmacy (a) Issue medicine as prescribed. The Benefits (a) Health Care Professionals get a guaranteed income per month, irregardless of illness. That is, Doctor pay is not dependent on the health of their client. (b) Employees are covered for Medical / Dental / and Pharmacy (c) Corporation "XYZ" and Health Care Professionals can set a rate of (per employee) pay. This example used $70.oo per employee; split 50-50 between employee and Corporation "XYZ". Let us expand this example Let us say the Cooperative of Health Care Professionals secure 20 separate contracts, with 20 Corporations at 50 employees per company; for a total of 1,000 employees. (a) Health Care Professionals will have a guaranteed income of $70,000.oo per month or $840,000.oo per year. (b) Health Care Professionals can also offer This Health Care System, on an individual basis. To people not in a corporate climate and BILL as a 'regular monthly expense' and set their own rate of $35 - $70 per month (or any 'X amount' to be paid per month). (c) Companies can offer their employees a Health Care Package that will cost them $8.75 per week or 22 Cents per hour (That is at: 40 hour per week). (d) This system cannot be abused. Final Note Hopefully there will be Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists and Companies willing to try a new approach to Health Care. There will be Pluses And Minuses, but like all contracts, it can be negotiated. The Idea Companies and employees can pay a set amount to Health Care Professionals who are willing to accept a set pay rate and render health related services. ANNEX (1) In any type of pay system for Health Services, where the source of funds is TAX money. A fair price to pay Health Care Professionals under this new idea is: $100.oo per person per month. |
