Lets kill free tubes and torrents...

There must be someone out there that can hack free tube site with stolen content and torrents that are distributing stuff my stuff, and yours free. Maybe if we all just run up there bandwidth bills or upload corrupted files to them they will at least rethink there idea,,, who is in on it..... they are killing all of us.

Hacking a tube site that has stolen content would be like braking & entering to retreive your stolen goods from a home. Hacking is illegal. Go through the proper channels. www.removeyourcontent.com can help you.

Did you check illegal forums like "extreme-board" with complete SITE RIPS links to FILE SHARING SITES like depositfiles, rapidshare, sharingmatrix, megaupload, ETC.

All I can say is that sponsors are not able to take those files/threads down lately. LATELY, when you report those threads/files to sponsors, they are not able to take them down VIA DMCA (or maybe they don't care?). Threads and files stay there for months. We are talking about complete SITE RIPS, not some teasers on some tubes.

But again, someone here in GFY will come and say a stupid thing like:

"Those places don't affect sales at all, if your sales are down, is because you are failing to adapt"...

It really makes them sound like the owners of some small rapidshare clone. We webmasters, are definitely, our worst enemy.

Gideon let me ask you this. You are very knowledgeable it seems on these issues. What would be the best way for a program to truly legally stopping surfers from distributing there content and uploading it to these sites. I always see you defend the laws which protects the people who steal but i never seen you post any ways to legally stop it or laws the protect the content producer. What is the reason for this?

the dmca protect the copyright holder already, it goes to far in your favor already because there is no substantive damages for abusing fair use.

you don't need anything more than that

you just have to turn the edge of the law in your favor and as i have already said all you have to do is setup a private tracker properly.

What is the reason for this?

i walk people thru these process step by step. I get paid a lot of money (small fixed fee + % revenue FOREVER). It would be to smart to give it away for free would it.
