Man dies in Pasco after cutting himself trimming a tree
NEW PORT RICHEY - When rescuers arrived Friday evening, 48-year-old Daniel Clifford Antrobus was 40 feet above the ground harnessed to a tree and bleeding profusely.
But the tree trimmer with Bottom Dollar Tree Service at some point stopped talking while Pasco Fire Rescue workers attempted to remove him from the tree outside 8305 Sycamore Drive, New Port Richey, shortly after 5 p.m., according to a Pasco Sheriff's Office report. His right leg was cut to the bone, the report states. He was flown by medical helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where he was pronounced dead about 6:45 p.m. Less than two hours before, Antrobus had told his employee, Joseph Jaworowski, that he had accidentally cut himself with the chainsaw. Jaworowski told Antrobus to come down from the tree so they could get help, but Antrobus refused, saying saying he wanted to finish the job, the report states. Jaworowski told another employee to call 911. About 5:45 p.m., a half hour after they arrived, paramedics got Antrobus, of New Port Richey, down from the tree and began performing CPR before he was taken to the hospital. thats service :Oh crap |
