DVD guys - best lossless method to compile your content on DVD?
content filmed in 720p and edited with premiere CS3.... i'll export the finished project as a HUGE uncompressed AVI, then encode it to H264 MP4 for the web (movavi videoconverter8). Problem is if I take that MP4 and then convert it to DVD the end result is not too sharp.
so my Q, what is the best way to retain the quality of your original uncompressed AVI and put it on DVD? |
You can export from the timeline straight out of Premiere Pro into mpeg-2 format for the DVD if you know what settings to use. Or since you have the uncompressed AVI already, you can use a plethora of other apps that can encode that AVI into mpeg-2 such as Adobe Encore DVD authoring software or any number of other prosumer or consumer apps that can encode into a DVD ready video & audio format. Sometimes these apps will even burn the DVD for you immediately afterwards.
