any way to capture the referring url on signups w/o affiliate script?
ive been looking for software on this but its been futile.
Basically, when somebody signs up, you get the referring url of where they came from (assuming they hit your front page by clicking from a site) passed in with the signup information this is amazingly useful information, i cant get it to work with google analytics anyone know of a solution? |
No idea how to separate the ones who sign up to the ones who don't unless it's via an affiliate. Would love to know though.

You could use PHP to save $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'], $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], date and time info to a file/database before sending to sponsor, then compare info to the sponsor's stats. http://www.mikeyddddd.com/gfy/images...just-sayin.gif |
the processor tracks the ip of the transaction
then you can go to your server logs and see where that ip came from on another note, does anyone know why google analytics code on your processors join form does not track it? i have the same problem as you there would make life much better if it worked |
got it, thanks guys
