The kid who took that last 3 for NI was ballsy, and I loved seeing it fall.

I have a grudge against Kansas from years ago.

It sure was a great shot. They beat the full court press and he thought about passing it off but he was so open he put it up and sank the 3! :thumbsup

there goes 97% of everyone's bracket. There's some Northern Iowa supporter who had them though beating Kansas. Good win boys

I was really glad that it didn't go the other way, and that one kid didn't have to go the rest of his life kicking his own ass, thinking that an inch of his shoe that caused the baseline turnover that cost them the game.

Funny thing is that most Kansas fans were scared shitless of N. Iowa. Jayhawks were the only ones in the country that knew how tough they were.

I was sure that if KU beat them then it would be smooth sailing until the champ game with Kentucky. That was the only other game that KU had to fear.

Yup, most brackets had KU in the finals. Makes the tourney much more interesting now.

A KU alum on my FB friends page said exactly that -- that NI was a team to be feared and that they match up very well to KU. Sure enough, everyone on his page accused him of jinxing them. LOL

I and many of my friends are KU alumni as well. I live in Lawrence. That was the topic of discussion last night in downtown Lawrence. Your FB compadre wasn't alone in his thinking.

Oh well, on the upside it will be easy to get a parking spot downtown tonight. :1orglaugh
