How does register.com get away with $35 per year registrations?

You will find discount codes to bring that price down to $10 or less :winkwink: I dont think anyone pays full price for anything online these days ....

kinda like those "your domain is expiring soon pay us a jillion dollars or you might lose it" letters that come in the mail looking like a bill :D

well dont laugh but i have used register.com for my main domain since 1999. I pay 35 a year for it too ;) Have you ever seen anyone have a issue with register.com? Yeah piece of mind is well worth the extra 15 bucks.

Er.... extra $25+ bucks compared to most registrars.

I guess the reason you don't hear about any issues is because so few people use them at that price.

I prefer to pay $7.49 couponless with Fab and have no issue with well over 2,000 domains there. Piece of mind is well worth saving over $55,000/yr, don't you think?
