Usually the same set up at walmart is $100 cheaper online.

google and find out if dell outlet has a deal going, they offer 20% off all the time you can score some pretty nice refurbished laptops for your price range

Do not waste your money on HP. We bought them for our staff and every one of them is literally falling apart and they are only about a year old.

Just remember that most of these new laptops do not have firewire / ieee1394 ports any more. This is important if you do any video.
