I would love to hear 1 cheerleader for CCBill
Would like to hear a story about how CCbill has made you money!
I will debunk your story in 1 second! CCbill is on auto pilot to NOT make money. Think I'm wrong... ask me why! |
Why? then
|
every monday i get a very nice wire to my bank account from ccbill. some weeks are higher than others but that is life.. :2 cents:

I've had my issues with getting some things fixed or answered from the general ccbill support but when it comes to Paul I've never had a issue. |
Maybe you all should realize that the BIG FUCKING 20 DOLLAR cost for this SITE WILL REBILL UNTILL YOU GET BUNGHOLED REPEATEDLY...
WIll hurt your sales... I removed that with my custom form... took care of a couple things... Sales happened. Now I have big fucking stupid text reminding buyer that it will rebill RIGHT ABOVE THE FUCKING SUBMIT BUTTON... and sales are non exisent... AGAIN... I had the money and I was just cock blocked by the guys that are suppose to make me money |

It is the most basic of sales tactics... but one thing is sure my sales suck with that in front of the sales button. let me guess... you make awesome sales just the way it is? |

But it's an easy fix: 1) Do what they want. or 2) Set up your own billing and stop making them money. No need to get all pissed off and burn bridges |
i'm not going to put up with this... this is my livelyhood...
just because your peons do not understand I do.... I'M PISSED!!!!! It still looks like shit. Why would Paul do this?? Please return my recurring description below the banner as it originally was. It is not a VISA requirement or any other CC requirement to jam that RIGHT ABOVE THE submit button. It is starred and any star is always listed at the bottom of a page. That is why it is called a "footnote". There are other HUGE sites that process with CCBill and list the recurring description as I had originally. I'm sure they do not want there forms modified internally without there knowing as mine was. Please fix it ASAP. Mark |

rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrright - CCBILL cost you hundreds of thousands of dollars
guess what - CCBILL is still in business while others have gone down the tubes BECAUSE they have always taken the conservative approach. you wanted a join form with no disclosure about recurring billing above the submit button - BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH as far as I know Epoch is just as stringent about such things get your own merchanct account if you want to be shady like the big boys If I were CCBILL i'd politely inform you that it's time to find a new credit card processor because you are no longer their client. |
Quote:
It is about how you make a sale... rule #1... do not say anything when making a sale. I am not trying to hide the recurring just not have it before the submit button. It is sales #1... really that is what sales is about. and... |
Quote:
that would be great. because they are costing me plenty just hiring people like Paul |
Quote:
i see Met-Art's join form and the recurring billing footnote is below the submit button. |
So they are allowing Metart to do it but not you?

do you think it is just another ccbill lul or something else? |
i'm not looking to stir up shit but I think CCBILL should explain how MetArt has the footnote description UNDER the submit button when Paul in his email to McFadden says "The recurring description must appear above the submit button. This is a requirment and cannot be bypassed."
Even if it's just a 'MetArt processes a much larger volume of transactions than the average CCBILL client which allows them lower processing fees and other considerations' - nothing wrong with that, that's how the world works. |
Maybe Met-Art are allowed to do it because their memberships are explained in full on the page preceding the actual join page. Granted, it is below the submit on the previous page also, but it is another opportunity for the surfer to see what he is paying for.

page here: http://errotica-archives.com/signup/ doesn't even say its going to be recurring charge...not before and not after only in the "payment option" |

I also have multiple pricing options, one of which is non-recurring......Just like the join form mentioned above, there is no mention of recurring billing above or below the join button and it's only mentioned in the drop down price menu which is of course the FIRST thing you see when you load the page. I've run into you in other threads...One where you were freaking out because you keep seeing denial emails...I in turn told you to TURN THEM OFF so that you won't worry about it...If the person can't join, they can't join...Biting your nails wondering WHY they can't join doesn't make you any money and causes you more heartache...The ONLY statistic that I care about is my weekly payout....But I guarantee that you won't take my advice and do what I've done YEARS ago to alleviate that problem. Then in another thread you started that was geared specifically to your join form, I told you to give multiple pricing options so that a drop down menu would show up with the prices....Again, you won't do what I have done YEARS ago to increase my sales opportunities... And let's be honest....I highly doubt that some wording about a recurring charge is repelling your customers in droves....There's gotta be some other reasons...You just have to be real and honest with yourself to find a true solution for your problem and screaming at some random dude at CCbill isn't the solution. |

If you disclose in your payment option; xx.xx for 30 days then xx.xx recurring every 30 days Then you don't need anything else on your page. ----------------------------------------- If you have; xx.xx for 30 days recurring *1 Then you have to have the terms of the recurring somewhere on the page (1. recurring every 30 days) ------------------------------------------ If you have xx.xx for 30 days "1 (and its a recurring billing) Then the term "recurring" has to be shown before the submit button. ---------------------------------------- Or that's how I understand it, correct me if I'm wrong Paul. |

You may think it's no big deal. That's fine. It is a big deal. The guy took it upon himself to change my form without me knowing. I can guarantee if other sites that process many more dollars then me had there customized join form altered the way mine was there would be hell to pay. I'm not going to reiterate why this is such a big deal. |
