...believe that ones life is controlled by and decisions are made by your subconscious mind and the conscious mind only rationalizes that it is in control and a conscious decision was made by you. In addition your basic subconscious character is formed in your first two years of life and will dictate the rest of your life.

Nice to ponder over over a joint, but scientifically impossible to prove.

"Everything happens for a reason" is your subconcious saying "I told you so"

They have a methodology in their studies and I am not a big fan of the word "impossible" but yeah it would seem that it is just food for thought. It is pretty amazing though how much has been learned about the brain...its various parts...and their functions.
