If it were that simple we'd all be doing 500 sales a day. So many factors like search engine listings, a new affiliate, even a pirated movie could of turned more people on to your stuff. The bottom line is you can't ever pinpoint one days events and base your model off of it.
I'm not saying you are wrong, or being confrontational at all, just that the net is a dynamic living entity; to think that it's nuances can be pinpointed off of one days performance is like thinking you can learn a new language in one day. It's more months and years of data, and even then, there will be days where you are scratching you're head. I think that since we are behind computers are day and not dealing with customers on a face to face level, we forget to input one crucial element into our business model-the human element.
