I was wondering how you got your adult *ALIAS*?

I got mine from Eric from Playboy.com in 2002-03. I just completed 2 years of trade shows and work with a content company. I was entertaining an offer to work at a different company that was more webcam based and paid more money at the time and ran into Eric.

So Eric and I were trade show and I was telling him about my new position and what I had in mind. He looks at me and is like be careful Derek you branded yourself to your last company and at the rate the internet goes your going to lose faith from people. I didn't know what he meant at the time. He continued by saying if you change your name to XYZ COMPANY Derek every 2 years people are going to assume the worst. So I was like your right Eric.. He replied need to be like Prince, Sting or Madonna. One name...and your new name is DWRECK. I thought it was fitting at the time and unique. Now I can't drop it and I have to remind people that my name is Derek. lol


Im curious to know where yours comes from and what it means.

I had been thinking long and hard about what to call myself. I found inspiration from the movie Princess Bride, and a character named Enigo Montoya. I added an X to Enigo and came up with "xenigo". I'm not even sure if "Enigo" is how you spell his name, though.

I liked the way it looked.

Like Dwreck, often when I call people and tell them my real name, they don't know who it is and then I say it's TheEnforcer and they are like "Oh yeah.. I know you." lol

I was working for Coca Cola and invented a device that load tested circuit boards for vending machines. I called it VENDZILLA, cause well,, it was kinda big. I later made a smaller one. I got my first email address at yahoo and thought I made up the word Vendzilla and used it. When I started posting at XBiz, I decided it could work for me

I just downloaded that movie the other day. It seems to be a classic and I havent had the time to watch it yet.

Actually, a lot of my friends have called me that for a while so I just went with it. People seem to adopt Bobby Digital, Digital, Didgie... as a nick for me too. :)

After the avatars came onto the forum I dropped in my angry jewish cat because i found it funny at the time. Unsuspectedly it lead to a lot of people talkign about it in threads, mentioning it on ICQ, and whatnot. The frequent question became "Is he an angry jew cat, or a scared jew cat?" I decided he was angry.

My nickname used to be ismokeblunts on here, at the time I had pretty much quit smoking weed and didn't really feel it applied, so I changed my nick.

Voila, Angry Jew Cat is born...

Ive actually had mine since middle school. Used to be my alias back when I played video games professionally (yea I'm a nerd). Someone on my old team made a connection between quick reflexes and the road runner, so I just put the 2 together and meeper was born. :)

I will remember that! That word is going come in handy one day.

oh, a video game team. I was confused for a moment.

i've gone through more than 9 lives already and everyone knows what a pussycat i am. the nick was the first thing that sprang to mind when i joined the board.

Started with Starcraft, but didn't really get into super competitive games till counterstrike. I was on a few sponsored teams and got flown around to play in tournaments back when I was in high school. Good times.

Every day Alias so it just seemed fitting...

The only people that call me by my real name are bank people and my teachers when i was in school.

One of the 1st sites I built was for some chick that was a ex-playboy model and wanted to sell her crappy book online. So I built her site and few weeks later a number of us were in Vegas and she kept telling people I was wizard at that internet stuff. We ended up at Excalibur shooting craps and on the $100 chips is a wizard named Wizzo and so they all started calling me Wizzo and shortly after I found Porncity which was the board to be on at the time and used it. The rest as they say is history... :pimp

I credit my moniker to Aly Drummond, my mentor. I got my start at AVN in 2005 and Aly not only guided me and helped me navigate these waters, she also created my nick. It was a blast working with her and the day we spent coming up with my name was hilarious.


I'm sure most of you who remember her can vividly picture her saying, "Hello daaaahling!"
