This is an ongoing search on my part and many others to find a reliable, knowledgeable and fast programmer.

Well Cyber responded in an earlier thread of mine and turned the completed project around in less then 2 hours exactly how I wanted it.

What kind of programming? php?

He replaced a slow loading flash game (which function was really just an image) with an actual image and then reprogrammed html code to pull the vids in the correct spot and correct url links for the image... links associated with a random selection of girls from a sub-folder. Not really sure how to explain it except my page loads 5 seconds faster on cable connection and about 20 seconds faster on dsl. It does the same as it did but got rid of the flash.

It wasn't in PHP but he knows it... you can see his sig for his services and he could better explain his services then I could.

it took him 2 hours for that? lol

And what I described is not everything but the fact that he did it so quickly... exactly the way it needed to be with ALL the little details... hell yeah. Will recommend a good programmer when I find one and I just did...

Well, different projects have different needs. My main programmers are borked and konrad.

However, I have Brandon Stills putting together a quote for me, and have a few others I talk to. That said, the main guys I use are not always available. They are in high demand, so sometimes I have to find someone else for a quick project here or there.

Juan is a beast, good guy too.

While it's always appreciated for people to post their great experiences with freelancers, the fact is that by doing so you are potentially harming yourself in the future.

Say he begins getting a lot of work now or even a full-time position and you need him again in the future, you may unfortunately get the old "Sorry, I'd love to but I am too busy now".

Like any good secret, you should keep it for yourself (unless you don't intend to ever have much need for him, then helping him find more work is a great thing to do!)

not sure what services do you use, but cable is even faster than DSL where we live. 24Mbps on cable.

it's a shame because he's really good, but he's quite unreliable as well, he also got us down with a semi finished project (paid in full) and the offer to get a 5 figures task, but he told my partner he was under payroll with another company, so maybe he's out of biz in adult

750 sent to him to integrate a social networking site with some customization. It couldn't have been that much work with what I wanted done.

I got the install and that is it... he responded to me via ICQ when I sent this link and now, again, no fucking responses.

That dude is probably working a job that pays 3 times as much as you and the client isn't
complaining on/or even knows about GFY.
