    ccbill wms big fail

just wanted to say that ccbill wms is a big fail. this week i received two emails where one company switched back to old ccbill and another company switched to epoch because of ccbill problems. i personally hate ccbill wms, it is like some 50% done shit which is beta beta beta and its pain in ass to work with. i just dont get why companies are fucking working system and are wasting time on something that nobody wants. just my two cents but i had to wrote this. have a nice day

Nobody wants? You are out of your mind. People have been asking for this for years.

the marketing material (creating) part is a little bit confusing (using re-direct links etc.) but it has also has some nice features I think. For example the fast and easy way for affiliates to find programs, compare them, get informations all without even visiting the sponsors site. But overall we are happy that we can use the legacy again, which we and our affiliates are more farmiliar with.

I have my programs set up to use either one. WMS or Legacy (affiliates choice)

But in all due respect, IMO, there are only a couple WMS features that I think anyone will ever use. (campaign tracking & better stats)

The rest of the stuff is 90% useless to most sponsors. This is my opinion of course.

Instead of wasting resources on 90% of the crap in there, they should have concentrated their efforts on building a full suite of tools in order to make it easier for these ccbill sponsors to attract affiliates which in return would put more money in their pocket as well as CCBill's.

CCBill has hurt themselves even by not doing this.

For example, we all have heard affiliates say that CCBill ratios are higher than other sponsors.

Many of these higher ratios are caused by sponsors linking to their fhg's with a ccbill redirect in the gallery link. This counts a click each time a gallery is loaded by a surfer. (even though 90% of these clicks will never click through to the tour)

This practise makes your ratio go off the charts.

CCBill should have built in a decent FHG manager script with all the bells and whistles many years ago.

Still in the new WMS there is nothing like this.

                This is just one example.

If they had a full suite of tools built in then all the smaller CCBill sponsors would be on the same playing field as all the other sponsors with deeper pockets, in house programmers, all the fancy tools, etc etc.

IMO they should have done this back in 2002 when fhg took off.

Instead you still have CCBill sponsors today with verbiage on their site saying: "Replace the XXXXX's with your affiliate ID." hahahah

You even see this in their FHG url lists as I explained above.

                anyways,

It's never too late to do it. So my advice, get busy working on a full suite of tools.
