I have one - it's great.

I just started surfing around the web today to see what was out there.

There's streaming porn available through a private channel! EroticVision.tv

Not to mention some other cool mainstream content.

Got one for my folks. They love it.

Got one. Couldn't live without it. Use it 99% of the time to stream free movies from Netflix. The old stuff, some new stuff. Some great older TV shows. It's the way of the future., and Netflix plans to double or triple the streaming content over the next 12-18 months.

Be sure to get the higher-end HD version, the one with the HDMI connector, even if you don't currently have an HD TV.

Not a big fan of more boxes.

How is the quality?

Super quality. For Netflix their HD is currently 720p, and not all content is streamed at full 720p. However, their box up-reses it, and it looks quite good.

You need a good connection - minimum 1mbps (sustained) for 480i and around 2 mbps for 720p. Less than this and the system will do some bandwidth negotiation, and take away some quality. You see the quality level you're at with a series of four dots.

Seeing how Netflix instant view content is absolutely free with any Netflix account over the basic one it's a no-brainer.

There are rumors Hulu will get added as a channel - perhaps a premium one - and that'll be a killer. Currently I watch Hulu via a laptop I have connected to the RGB port of the TV. It's a hassle having to deal with the Flash player manually. Having it on the Roku would be great.

I have a Dell Zino HD that I use as an HTPC. Cost under $300, plus I spent $100 on mini keyboard and another $50 on an HDTV tuner.

The affiliate program is through Google, which means no adult.

I am going to get the Popbox as soon as it is out. All HD with APPs.
