Just Listening to the "Opiate" EP from Tool (1992)
 

A six song EP I never got to before, a recording they released before they definitely broke through with "Undertow" a year later.

Shorter frame, good, live and raw feeling, furious drum work

Shows the great energy they later transformed into their trademark conceptual records.

Saw them live about three years ago, it was a trip, I remember I sipped a couple beers and than the time just stopped for about 2 hours

you should seek out the 'tales from the dark side' bootleg. another great live cd. i assume you have salival?

I lost my copy, some great stuff. I only recently found out about Salival, damn is it expensive.

Also love tool .. Love the Aenima cd the best here... They get soooo complex on their newer shit, my brain cant wrap itself around it yet.. but i'm sure it will one day.
