So happy Avatar didn't "sweep the Oscars"

It got the awards it deserved... and put my faith back into movies.

There's a difference between a motion picture and a theme park ride.

ninavain 03-08-2010 06:07 PM

why would it, it sucked

CaptainHowdy 03-08-2010 06:08 PM

I'd put my faith somewhere but congrats anyways...

fatfoo 03-08-2010 06:58 PM

Avatar did very well at the box office. Well done.

itto 03-08-2010 07:03 PM

i find it quite interesting that kathryn bigelow, director of "hurt locker" was married to james cameron..

mayabong 03-08-2010 07:07 PM

I find it funny that that black guy who won for that documentary was so happy, and some lady pulled a kanye west on his ass.. I felt bad for him.. didn't understand what she was talking about.

tranza 03-09-2010 11:17 AM

I'm kinda glad too.

Agent 488 03-09-2010 11:19 AM

the apple twins should do an avatar themed shoot in blue paint. that would be rad.

beerptrol 03-09-2010 11:24 AM

I'm sure james cameron is crying all the way to the bank.

alexchechs 03-09-2010 11:25 AM

Cameron got what he deserved... some technical awards... and seeing his Ex win the prizes he really wanted... Cameron's a douche

I was even more surprised that she is 58 years old. Some women would be happy to look like that at 45.

;) j/k

I watched The Hurt Locker last night. Really good movie but Best Picture? Meh...And the black guy in the movie did a way better acting job then the guy nominated for Best Actor. Oh and Sandra Bullock for Best Actress? I love her but I dont know about that one either. Overall good Oscars.

I fell asleep twice in Avatar. I might have missed the most amazing scenes in cinematic history while asleep but from what I saw I was bored as fuck.

SomeCreep 03-09-2010 07:51 PM

Avatar should've won the award for "Most overrated movie ever."

J. Falcon 03-09-2010 07:54 PM

The acadamy awards are a joke and so is Hollywood.

Not sure how a show that has absolutely no credibility as far as judging movies go, put your faith back in movies. It's still the highest grossing movie of all time. Deal with it.

By the way, the proven way to win an oscar revolves around fat/ugly/minority/homosexual/war. Any combination of that and bam.

if Pandora were populated with hot naked twins, it woulda been a great movie.

mattz 03-09-2010 10:25 PM
