PC VIDEO BATCH thumbnailer - quick & easy?
IS there some freeware to make batches of thumbs with WMV's? I need to rip like 100 thumbs of each video on some 640x480 videos, just want to set it and forget it.
What's a free one, don't need any bells or whistle just batches to be made. Free is best ;) |
ok, after wasting an hour:
http://www.frame-shots.com/ easiest simplest batch video thumbnailer I could find, $30, but fuckit. maybe this post will show up in Search engine in case someone else needs it. |

A little hint: if you install ffdshow and enable FLV playback via DirectShow you can then grab screens off your Flash vids (and in fact play FLVs through Windows Media Player, should you want to). There are some issues with frame-accurate positioning as the FLV decoders don't support seeking to a frame that isn't a keyframe. Most Windows Media formats do, which is why you can choose arbitrary timepoints for your screen grabs. |
frame shots is the best, plus its written by someone on gfy.com, so you are supporting them.

Good luck on finding what you need.
