[HELP] Mobile website design

I just noticed that the number of mobile visitors is increasing and now I feel the need to build a mobile version for my html/tables mainstream website.

What can I take as standard these days? With the old WAP it was just a matter of reduce all stuff to text.

Now what can I do in order to keep the mobile version looking as much as possible like the original one?
Sizing all tables, graphics and text inside a table with a certain width?

200px width ?
Forget graphics and do it with text only?

Please leave you opinions

your avatar picture is disturbing, I was constantly distracted by it while reading your question :)..

Anyways, there is a bunch of Converters to "iPhone" format. Do a google search and you'll be surprised how easy it is to convert your site to the most spread mobile format.

Its just simple css and variables to determine who(what venue) is looking at your site...

320 px width is good for iPhone

try this code: <meta name="viewport" content="width=320; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0;">
