[HELP] Mobile website design
I just noticed that the number of mobile visitors is increasing and now I feel the need to build a mobile version for my html/tables mainstream website.
What can I take as standard these days? With the old WAP it was just a matter of reduce all stuff to text. Now what can I do in order to keep the mobile version looking as much as possible like the original one? Sizing all tables, graphics and text inside a table with a certain width? 200px width ? Forget graphics and do it with text only? Please leave you opinions |

your avatar picture is disturbing, I was constantly distracted by it while reading your question :)..
Anyways, there is a bunch of Converters to "iPhone" format. Do a google search and you'll be surprised how easy it is to convert your site to the most spread mobile format. |
Its just simple css and variables to determine who(what venue) is looking at your site...

320 px width is good for iPhone
try this code: <meta name="viewport" content="width=320; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0;"> Also consider trying some of the sponsors here: http://nichemobi.com [under partners] |
