Looking for stuff to do on the weekends or even mid week to get out of town

planning a trip to Mt Baldy and Mammoth skiing

what else is there to do to get me out of this pit?

Rent a motorcycle and follow Baddog around.

there's nothing to do in los angeles. if yo uhave a car you should try to get out to bakersfield or up to fresno, much more action and things to do there.

For parties? there's a few all nighters goin on. Bang the Drum is on Sat.

Even though we have shitty air. The smog makes great sunsets. A lot of chicks by the beach too. I'd head down to O.C and hang out around Newport Beach.

You like hookers? We have a lot of them too. Strip clubs? a few good ones too? hostess bars ( me love you longtime ) look around the miracle mile. Mama san will hook you up.

You like music? You missed Bon Jovi last night too bad they were good. but we have Hollywoood so you can check out the whiskey or easily pick up some rocker whores at the Rainbow Room.

You like sports? Lakers on Tues against the Raptors.

You like to drink? We're goin out and will be drinkin here in downtown. At Maria's during happy hour tonight.

Yea because noting beats the party scene in Hollywood FL

Take detours because a exit is under construction
etc..lol..

Vegas... its only a 4 hr drive...

Dude you guys are crazy...I'm born and raised in Los Angeles and I think it's fucking awesome. There is tons of stuff to do out here.
- Great live music
- Great food
- Great bars
- Great beaches
- Great shopping
- Amusement parks
- Museums
- Sight seeing

Sure, the air is not so great...but who gives a shit!

i dont party so its all good for me

atleast our air quality in the other hollywood dosnt give one instant lung cancer

too bad Gorkys in downtown is gone, fucking great restaurant that was.
is Change of Hobbit still there? that was a really cool store.
i also liked going to Carnys, a restaurant in a train on sunset blvd, awesome chili burgers,
and from there walking around a bit, there was a great tower records near there on sunset.
then theres magic mountain a little north for thrill rides, had some good roller coasters.

these are all things i remember in the 80's...not sure if they are still there or if they are any good now-

also, theres still one rep film theatre left i'm pretty sure the Nuart is there, that was a killer old style cinema.

Mt Baldy sucks. Mountain High is a little better & pretty close and Snow summit is a lot better & a little further.

I'm not sure where you are staying in LA, but the air is nice up here in Malibu. You might want to consider renting a surfboard or SUP board & hitting the long point break at Malibu Pier.

Question, is it worth the drive to head to mammoth or should i hop a plan and head to the sierra's. Im an expert so I looking for some fresh powpow and some vertical.

Never surfed always wanted to learn. maybe this is when i should. whats the water temp like? are there places that give lessons?
