in our defense ... been working online since 2005 and running starlightbucks since 2006... 90% of our webmasters are always asking us questions, like how do I get my page better SEO, how do I get more links to my own stuff, how do I make money promoting your sites etc wanting us to do their work for them. we joined this program and found the information very helpful. if you don't want to use our ref link, don't. you should still signup and give it a try. if we sent you an email with a new program offering $150 PPS, still with our referral link, no one would bitch. but we send an email to help our affiliates learn how to promote, yes with our referral link, but regardless trying to honestly help, and people bitch.
so to recap, if you don't like it, don't join it. not like it hurts to learn new stuff. if you are worried about the spam-i-ness of it, we offer you an opt out if you don't want emails. we only sent it as it WAS relevant to anyone who works online, especially newer affiliates, and in the end fuck if we care if you use our link. better yourselves and learn something new. google how to do things yourself, join a program to teach you easier, or go to college.
