People can keep info to themselves... thats fine. Its the one I work with that will make all the $. If I was a specialist and I saw good content, I wouldnt be pushing away easy money.

the thing is, a good seo strategy (or better: a good se marketing strategy) takes time and money. if you want to see your sites rank high in the serps for a specific high-competiton keyword/phrase, better be prepared to shell out $2xxx per month for at least half a year.
a good agency will definitely deliver results but you won't get any guarantees, even in this price range.

we should chat about mainstream since i know you are moving into that realm...

mainstream is a different animal and i have been hunting that big game for over a year..

would love to compare notes with someone else that knows what they are doing.. :thumbsup

1) Create good title tags
2) Use good alt tags on images
3) Put some FUCKING WORDS on your site. Google cannot look at a picture with writing on it and read the writing. Google needs WORDS.
4) Links, get some.

There you go. Now do that and come back in 3 months with some cash.

Czarina has an SEO guy that did great for my sites. He put me on google and yahoo #1 pages for my top 6 keywords. It cost me a pretty penny, but compared to other SEO guys I talked to before, it was actually cheap.

base seo steps are pretty easy, people just believe in magic of seo guru, but there are nothing difficult ... some simple webmasters skills and a lot of work, want faster - all depends on your pocket size.

Seriously OP, there's actually some solid advice in this thread already. Learn the basics of search engine marketing, totally redesign all your sites, and you're half way there :upsidedow

It is a good thread with some basic knowledge... the thing is that I know it.. its just time. Id rather find a guru w tons of experience in SEO and cut them in on the action. Put people who are specialists in the right spots. I believe thats what brings success.... sure everyone can do it themselves... but the other method is finding 5 star people and put them in each area. Itll cost more or get cut up more, but it will make more money and bring more traffic that can be played with in other ways to make $.
