Doesn;t make much sense right, they only bought the name if I recall correctly. Why in hell would you pay back all this money if you are not to blame...

Altheon 02-28-2010 12:35 PM

Well it's nice to recover some cash if it actually happens. I wouldn't hold my breath on that. And for those of us who were just affiliates that got stiffed and never got a promissory note, I guess we are just SOL.

Good luck with that...

BIGTYMER 02-28-2010 12:35 PM

Now who has a promissory note from them?

Exactly. I think they owed me about $15,000 or so but I never received a promissory note.

They owe me 20k. After all this time I don't have the records. I held onto them for a couple of years. The records may be around some where in storage. They can't really expect the webmasters who got screwed over to still have the docs. Even then I remember talk of promissory notes but never received one.

What country is Ibill from? Bankrupt companies can have a real shady way of paying whats owed. i.e. pay a percentage on the dollar and then sue for it back

That's exactly what I was thinking
Might be a last minute grab in progress
Let's see here..

1. Big wonderful PR move
2. Big increase in volume
3. History repeats itself

tonyparra 02-28-2010 02:10 PM

well in that case then they owe me 10k

Tjeezers 02-28-2010 02:58 PM

they say this to help themselves introducing this new system they work on ( iBill 2.0 ) . To get not to much negative feedback they first release a promise, so when they do promote their 2.0, the threads will be a lot more easier for them.

You cant say you dont see the transparent setup here right? Give a little, take a lot....

Zester 02-28-2010 03:02 PM

so they are trying to buy reputation now by taking the blame of the previous owners?
doesn't smell good to me.

Zester 02-28-2010 03:03 PM

EDIT: double post

Agent 488 02-28-2010 03:07 PM
