Paris airport starts using full body scanners

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35520088/ns/travel-news/

i don't know how does this system worked exactly, but does it mean kind of machine analysis or the officials seeing Your naked body? if so isn't this unethical?

on the other hand some news said that US government giving pressure to Europe countries for using this crap?

i m not an anti American type, i like many things about Your country and The people, but i wonder why always such strange ideas are coming from Your government? :thumbsup

I can answer that... It's because our government is full of douche bags who have forgotten their place and need to be bitch slapped by the hand of God... or some equally as soul shattering force...

That being said those full body scanners are fucking BS and an invasion of privacy... not to mention the pedophile angle and the security behind it and what they do with the scans, etc...

i %100 agree and this includes my country though, but as humans it's time for us to stand up and start from somewhere don't You think so?

they thought us, You can change nothing, nothing will change what ever You do, happens what happens You can't change it...

Let's think for a second how many times it has been repeated to us?

Yes we can't change anything maybe, but at least governments will decide according to their citizens tendencies sometimes.

i don't say always, but "sometimes".

it's worth for it.

i m 24 years old, here we gain voting right when we become 18, it means i missed 4 elections (2 common+2 local elections) at least, a specially i didn't go to last election due to i didn't care.

however this time i m watching out 2011 elections.

i will come and vote what ever the reason is, maybe my vote won't change the results much, but at least it will add something to it.

Why i wrote this?

US and Tr, 2 different countries from 2 different areas of planet, both countries need to be taken from conservatives hands.

You have Bible belt, We have Koran belt.

i think this sums it up.

Solution: Liberal/Progressive people will also be organized as conservatives.

They will Sacrifice their one day for their own lifetime freedom, they will also go and vote :2 cents:

Noted, don't fly to Paris, not a problem...

I wasent mocking what you were saying it just sounded funny the way you said it

I think it dosent matter which political party is in charge they all do the same thing in different ways but then again where would we be without the government. It would be complete chaos not just complete madness :)

i was at dfw a few weeks ago and was made to go through one. didn't seem like a big deal.

Several US airports use these. I wouldn't have a problem with them if they actually worked.

uno 02-22-2010 06:30 PM

Most countries should just adopt Israeli airport security measures.

MoreMagic 02-22-2010 06:34 PM

here you have my :2 cents:

You might as well avoid any big airport then as they are or will be installed at all major US, Canadian and European airports.

Actually, the full story is that it was the US government that demanded it.
There is only one unit, and it's only in place for flights to the USA.

For the moment, you can refuse to be scanned.

pornguy 02-22-2010 07:32 PM

at some point it will become a law and you will have to go through,. if it stops the airplanes from being blown up then what the hell.

Na i never said we don't need government, what i simply ask is Our freedoms.

i know You weren't mocking, i already said i agree with some of the things You mentioned.

You're saying all political parties would do the same, Yes that could be true, but tendencies will always make difference.
