At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this year, Vudu announced that it would abandon its hardware business for partnerships with established manufacturers. Sharp, Sanyo, and Toshiba said they would release products like Blu-ray players and HD TV's with built-in access to the Vudu service. Prior to CES, Vudu was available in about eight products from LG and Mitsubishi ? a number that jumped to 50 at the annual electronics conference.

The Vudu set-top box was released in 2007, and provided access to the company's online library of movies, which could be purchased or rented.

In November, Vudu released a firmware update that incorporated Wikipedia into the service via embedded links in the film descriptions.

I held an arm wrestling tournament once at the nightclub I used to own. Some sort of federation or the like of them. The you'd think were gona win didn't. There's a ton of technique to it and the arm wrestling world is seriously a whole weird sub culture.

fucking great. walmart will buy and it let it turn to shit. has the potential to be awesome and i bought my bluray player ONLY because it had a built in Vudu box

you need a fast connection and open up two sets of ports. just plugging it doesnt really work that well. I have 25/20 line wiht Verizon and never have any problems

when i first got it, i just wired it up (has wifi, but wired is faster) and on HDX it would buffer a lot, but this fixed it. the problem with the non stb is you can only store the movies on their server... bad idea IMO
